Default quick question

I have a 91 Civic DX Hatch AUTO. I have 146k on the motor... and its starting to burn oil etc. I was wondering is it really complictated to switch it from AUTO to MANUAL... because if so I would like to drop a new motor in it. Just a noob looking for some answers!

lOL...huh, good question, really simple answer, and i'm sure that u know the answer already right? Here goes.....SELL THE CAR.....sell it to some chick in college that needs a ride to get around in, then turn around and buy u another one for about 500 to 800 dollars, maybe a little bit more depending on the condition of the vehicle, but first try to fix it to sell it, i you choose to. Just sell the car because your going to spend more money trying to convert it to manual. SELL IT, SELL IT, and i know that you'll miss it but its ok, it happens.

Thanks for all the advise... I am still undecided... I like this car, but I know I would have to do a couple of things to it to keep it on the road for another couple of years... man this is soo hard because I love the car don't get me wrong but.. auto is soo boring.

Just find a rust bucket civic or a wrecked one for next to nothing and swap everything over

I agree with you too, u can go that route but you might run into unexpected problems that requires a shop, ez fix though i guess, but yeah u right, it will give him a chance to learn about his car.
