h23 and h22 intermediate shaft

h23 and h22 intermediate shaft
i wanted to know if the half shaft or intermediate shaft are the same.
Im putting a h22a4 into a civic and was told that i need a 92-95 shaft ( this is the shaft that bolts to the block) to get the axles to plug in.
It is extremly hard to find a good deal on this part. however i did find a h23 92 prelude. will this work? is it the same as the 95 h22 prelude?
