o'reilly's can get them, I work for one That is also where the poly bushings for my radius rods came from. all they have to do is order it through arrowspeed (performance parts source) and its the Energy suspension part # minus the period in it after the 16. Hope that helps man. I have them and they helped out wheel hop some, I still have a crappy rack end bushing so the real diff wont be noticed till thats fixed and the car is re-aligned

That's wierd, I ordered mine at autozone. They can order all ES products and they dont charge you for shipping.

The O'reilly's I went to said they cant get ES, but they have some other brand called Goop or something like that. They couldnt find it in that brand either. Does anyone have the PN for either autozone or o'reilly's? I prefer autozone since they can get the ES.

Is anyone familiar with the advantages of spherical radius rod bearings as replacements for the OEM rubber and Poly bushings??

If no one has it, I'll just order it from summit, but I'd like to not have to pay for shipping.

first of all, i found no difference between old rubber vs poly bushings in this specific location. it supposedly controlling wheel hop made absolutely no difference, as ive heard before i tried.

as for spherical bearing replacement, it helps with controlling caster when HARD braking, as the momentum of the car pushes the bushing in, but a spherical will not have that flex. but really, its only applicable for track racers.

helped on my CRX, but as I kept making more power it was harder to control more and more. now with 220+ whp i am looking into traction bars.

no but they charge a 'handling fee' which about the same as charging shipping on an item that small. it only works out better when you combine your order to include a lot of stuff at one time.

OR just drive there for both Summit, and Jegs are an hour from my house. LOL! IMHO I would buy a traction bar setup. I have the Z-10 kit, and I love it. But I'm guessing if you don't have the cash for shipping you don't have $500 for a new crossmember.

I've got money for shipping, but why pay shipping when I can get it locally with no shipping cost? ya know? Plus, This isnt gonna be my power house anymore. My plans for this car have done a complete 180. Going to do a mildly built ls/vtec. Hoping to get over 200whp instead of the fully built ls/vtec turbo setup I was planning. It even has A/C now. I want this crx to be a fun daily driver. I'm prolly gonna do a complete resto on it one day. I made 205whp with my old turbo b16 in it at 7 psi and it was very fun. I cant wait to get around that on the motor.

I've got other plans for big power...

I looked on summit racing and saw that they named it the strut rod bushing, so I went back to autozone and told them I needed that for my car, and paid $13 for a set Should be here wednesday.

For suture reference, it is called the Strut Rod Bushing set. And it CAN be ordered from Autozone. Funny thing is, the ES was only like $3 more than factory replacement rubber.

definitely worth it imo.

I've thought about it and thought about it, but It wont be a dragracer anymore. I prolly wont even take it to a road track. So, I really wont have much use for the traction bars, plus, I have been successful at making everything work around that stock crossmember so far.

I don't drag either but with that kind of power it is gonna wheelhop like mad. I love my Z-10 kit. It never even thinks about hoping. I quickly rembered how bad hap was the other day ridding in my friend's 400whp 300ft. lbs. 99 Si. it wheel hops like crazy. I racesd him once when he was untunned, and I had a b16, and I won cause he was hopping so bad. Traction bars are worth every cent.
