The accord will work fine, but the gearing will suck compared to what your used to. I personally would try and find a H23 tranny or better.

gears will suck thats for sure! but if you dont have they money for a new tranny, your F22 one will bolt up and get you back driving.

if you have an appropriately sized turbo (therefore a good, fat torque band), then the long gears of the accord trans will benefit you greatly.....

he's right. Turbo's can do alot better with longer gears.

Personally even turbo'd I would still go H23a. I ran an F22 tranny and they are geared way too long. I wasn't boosted, but even so I would still prefer the shorter gearing of the H23.

Why would you go with the shorter geared tranny? I am curious what your reasoning is.

Personally, if I was turbo'ed, I would think the longer gears are better to make use of the power since the power will be made throughout most of the RPM band. The H23 and H22 gears are shorter because they are designed to make use of the engine's power delivery. Yes, the F22 gears are longer, but so many people make them out to be WAAAAY too long. Remember, the least HP/tq engine has the longer gears, and the Accord isn't much slower than the H23. That must tell you they aren't THAT long.

Also, to the creator of this thread, when you JDM H23A, do you mean the JDM equivalent of the US H23 or do you have a real JDM H23A? Just curious.

I guess IMO it depends on what kind of power your making. If your running a conservative tune with a rather small turbo and only getting 50-75 HP out of it then I personally would stick with the Slightly shorter gearing of the H23. However if I was running a 400 HP build then I would definitely use the F22 tranny. I guess to me it depends on your setup. What you intentions are of the car, and what the drivers preference is.
