Please No Flames I just need some input
I am undecided on what I should do with my car (auto Teg LS). I considered getting the crower cams package (402's) but it will not have the power I am looking for (I previously owned a Drag II boosted Prelude which was unfortunately stolen; The motor is probably in someones Accord
). I cannot sell the car, to get a manual car, considering how much $$$ I will lose due to depreciation (sue me if I took economics for 2 semesters). I also cannot find a GSR in the tri-state area without paying an arm and a leg for it. I was thinking about going the jrsc route, but that package doesnt offer many upgrades and plus I wanna try NA. I was thinking about getting the crower cams (403's) with S2 IM, ti retainers and springs, ob TB, and some USDM B16a pistons and a chipped ecu w/7.5k redline but I am not sure if this combo will break 155whp and I will be pretty much maxing out the bolt ons. I am thinking about getting a B18c swap with the JDM auto ecu (no manual swaps b/c it will reduce the value of my car and I dont feel like hacking it up anyway). No flames about the B18c swap w/the auto tranny. I dont think it will be that bad. Here are the advantages to this:
1. factory reliability
2. I havent seen anyone do this (its unique)
3. If I choose I have room to improve (9K redline beast which is what I really want)
4. Sleeper
I just want to hear some inputs from the rest of you.
P.S. If you are a car enthusiast and you like to spend a lot of $$$ on your car DO NOT TAKE ECONOMICS. TRUST ME

Well, you don't want to sell your car or do a manual tranny conversion due to depreciation but have you considered that you will not get your money out of the the motor swap? You'll pay around $3-5K for the engine/tranny depending on where you get it. Nobody will pay that much more for your car. If it's an auto, it'll be that much harder to sell. If you want to stick with auto for personal reasons (can't drive stick, traffic, etc.) then more power to you. However, if the only thing holding you back is the money factor, sell your car and put that $3-5k into a GSR where you can get more of your investment back later on.
