heater door (searched)
I have a problem being that hot air always is coming into the car especially when the AC is on. I searched and found that sometimes the wire with the loop sometimes falls off of the switch mechanism so I fixed that. The problem is now still the same, but the heater doors won't open or close and the temp control won't move all the way to the left or right and if i do make it move all the way it springs back toward the middle a bit. Does anyone know how to close the heater door?
Also is there 2 cables which hook onto the heater valve? i.e. one in the passenger side (fixed) and one in the engine bay(?) ?
Never mind found and fixed!

hit your dash above the center left vent.......I drove my car for 6 months thinking the ducts weren't hooked up when I finally hit a bump in the road and they stared blowing. Several people have had problems out of loose connections in their climate controls....I found that if I hit mine in that particular spot (it may take a few tries) it usally works. I actually have 2 extra that I need to test and see if they work better than mine...

Yes I hit a bump in the past that fixed it, but I don't have that luxury anymore I believe that it won't open anymore with that method because I have hit some pretty large bumps in the canyons and still nothing.
