vtech controller?
What accompanying engine modifications do you have done to your car?
And by the way, it is spelled, VTEC. Just thought you may want to avoid getting picked on.

Wait until you have the extra stuff to go along with it. Because lowering the VTEC point on a stock motor is nothing but a disaster waiting to happen. I have seen many burnt and floated valves from changing it on a stock engine.
Just wait until you need one, unless you can find a GREAT deal on one, and wait to put it in.
Some mods I am talking about:
-Cams
-Cam gears
-Internal engine parts (rods, pistons)
-Fuel pump
-Injectors
-Fuel pressure regulator
-Intake, header and exhaust.
And if you are going all out and plan on a standalone EMS, then don't waste your money on the VTEC controller. Most highline standalone EMS' come with full engine control. Including VTEC high and low activation point control.
