Default SRI Installation ?'s *pics*

Recently bought a short ram intake for my 2000 Civic EX and have a couple questions on where some of the vaccum hoses go.

If someone can match the hoses to where it needs to in the SRI, it'd much appreciated.

Is it necessary to use the hoses that came with the aftermarket or can you just plug in the stock black hoses into the SRI?

Also, what is that metal piece above the intake? What is it for?

Thanks in advanced.

A + C should go on E + F, on a 00 EX they would be the vent hose and air injection hose i believe, shouldn't make a difference which one goes on which nipple if they are all the same size. B should go in hole D, thats the intake air temp sensor.

the metal piece above your intake is the brace to bolt it to the fender. it looks like a generic kit though and you may have to scrounge up some hardware to make it work if it wasn't included.

if the stock hoses fit on the intake, i wouldn't worry too much about using the ones included in the kit.

100%

Don't need to fab though. Just take that piece, create a U out of the end of it, then tighten it int eh clamp that holds the filter on (so it's attached to the arm for all intents and purposes, then you can just bend & twist it so it fits to a ground bolt that's around there.

If you don't understand I can show you a picture of mine. Though you'll have to wait until Saturday when I have my camera. PM me if you don't understand.

Ok, another question. Is there a special way to get the vaccuum lines and IAT sensor off? I took the little clamps off but the tubes and sensor don't seem to want to come off
