How do u find leak on vacuum line?
Been spending a month live with rough idle, i started to figure it the problem, have swaped the ECAV, throttle body, fast idle, the problem still occur,
I going to inspect the vaccum hoses, can someone tell me how to tell if there's a leak on the hoses? Do you use gauge or feel by hand?
Thanks

Get a can of "Throttle body Cleaner" (gumout) make sure it has the red plastic hose that you can stick into the cap.
Spray the cleaner close to but not directly @ the vaccum lines... The vapor should get sucked into the vaccum line and then from there it goes into the Maniflod... then finally it goes to the cylinders gets burned and creates a richer mixture... this richer mixture raises the idle. So you should hear your engine RPM's raise a bit maybe only by 100 rpm or so... temporarily. don't spray the cleaner near short ram intake filters... cause it will hurt the filter but also you will get the higer RPM's since your richining the mixture by spraying it into the filter.
If you only have a few vaccum lines then just feel by hand... also you should feel all the vaccum lines for stiffness... that most likely means the vaccum line is dryed out and will crack eventually.
