naw stock sucks, remember that scene from indiana jones and the lost ark, you'll straight burn the shift pattern into your palm on a hot(110) day -rob

how does the duracon one feel? like rubber or hard plastic? and does it plug into the boot like a stock gsr **** or will the boot hang down? I see in your pic that it fits like stock, did u have to custom the bracket or is the jdm boot different.

Look at my pic. It feels like hard plastic. Nothing mushy about this thing.

kawaii desu ne!(how cuuute!) Pote-hamu is his name(he's a hamster).. maybe you can cut a hole in his bottom and stick him on your shift **** then your hand would never get hot. but i dont think the person who gave pote-hamu to ya will appreciate it much.

metal shift ***** suck when summer rolls in. carbon fiber doesn't get too hot. i say just use ur sweater sleeve and slip it over the **** until it cools off a bit.

Since it's metal, I would guess that it gets hot.

I live in Alabama where the temps are not uncommon to break the 100 degree mark. The stock Ti shifter does get hot, but only wimps would complain. It's also cool to burn the gear shift pattern into my hand. I wouldn't waste money on another shifter for heating/cooling reasons. Just my opinion.
