3" DP on a 90-93DA??

Default 3" DP on a 90-93DA??

Who has done it and is there hacking of the crossmember involved??

i done it but then again i'm running the full race traction bar
it should be doable with out much hacking of the stock cross member as long as the compressior is facing the driver side.
its preatty much impossible to run a 3" dp with the stock cross member if the compressor is on the passanger side

Well i'm about to attempt a 3" dump on a DA with compressor on the passenger side. With stock radiator, I had no other choice. If it comes to hacking I guess i'll have no choice.

I plan to make an extremely liberal use of whitey bends

Where does the hacking come about from? Does a 3" pipe physically just not fit in the hole there? Because if it's just bend radius, pie cuts certainly answer all problems (obviously on a budget if sticking with stock x-member);

would hacking up the crossmember result in anything. Like the durability of a crossmember or drag launches??
