sfwd roll cage ?

Default sfwd roll cage ?

in the rule books it states.non-oem tubing in front of firewall prohibited except to tie shock towers to roll cage.can i run the tubing all the way across the shock towers and then to the frame behind the core support.or only to the shock towers.thanks for the info.any pictures would be greatful.

I believe the only tubing allowed would be from the cage inside the car, to the back side of the shock towers, no further farward than that...

i believe in SPFWD you cant have any kind of tubing in the engine compartment. just a roll cage inside the car.

Call NHRA and ask them. rota92 did last Fall and was told, no cage bars forward of the strut tower.

You need to call NHRA, rules change from time to time. The call is free and they're the only ones that really know. After all, they make the rules.

In that link you'll see where the strut towers have pads welded to them for the cross bar, you may be able to see the two bars coming through the firewall to the back of the towers. That is what NHRA told rota was ok to do, but that was a year ago. That cage was built for SFWD
