chucked the timing belt off............................................... ..........................
Fellas, I chucked the timing belt off my car today, d15b2, do the piston and valves interfere with each other? did I hurt the engine? I turned the crank and could not hear anything?
Thanks in advance

I'm going to have a moment of silence for your D15b2

You can either reaplce the timing belt and crank it up to check, or take the motor apart.
Ive broke a timing belt before and everything was ok. Put a new belt on and was good to go(i got lucky). I say throw a new one on and see what happens

thanks for your help guys, I've got some oil leaks so I think I'll pull the engine and put a gasket kit into it, I'll lift the head then.
