Well considering I've noticed that MY gas light comes on when I have about 2 gallons left and I fill up at ~350, I can assume I can go a good 400 per tank if I ran it down to near nothing. 350 seems to be the average
anyone know how many gallons the tank holds? I'm at 373 miles with a little less than an eighth of a tank left.
I don't think I'm gonna get 400
edit: nm, it holds 13.2 gallons

I personally don't go above 3000RPM usually its 2500RPM with the occasional 6000RPM when I really want to push it. I usually get around 450 miles on a tank. Not to bad, Not speeding helps to.

I never shift above 3,000 if I'm in town. When I hit on-ramps for highways, I might go to 4,500 if someone is tailing me or an old person won't exceed 35 on the ramp (I pass them on the highway).

On my old HX motor I'd see 40mpg no matter what I did to it. Track time I'd see 35mpg, it was kinda creepy. We used to say that my car ran on air.
BTW, after my civic came off the truck to chicago the gas guage has been reading oddly with the scale being off. It'll read pegged at F for about a quarter tank, then normally for the rest of the scale, I haven't taken the time to try and run it dry to see if the E really is acurate, but from what I see it looks like it still is. Anyone got an easy way to fix this?

boosted ex's can experience better gas milage with boost if you leave in the converter. the d17a1 doesnt have the benefits of an EGR system but if i stay in vacuum (hard to do honestly..) my mpg have remained the same as stock.
