Default help me pick a muffler!! want a dual tip

Im looking to build a custom 3in exhaust any suggestions on a muffler with a 3in inlet. I like the magnaflow dual tipped mirror finish one but I don't think it comes in a 3in inlet. Any suggestions here? I just need 3in inlet and dual tipped.

ricer...haha...just kidding...dude dont go with a dual tip, I think that you might flamed from this...so put on your flame suit!!

Well if your looking for a muffler or the whole exhaust? (cat back or just the muffler with the stock piping?) I suggest that you get the full cat-back...go to kteller.com and look at stuff over there. IMO dont get the dual tip...

if you want dual tips and a 3" inlet, then it looks like you are going to have to buy the tips seperate.

magnaflow has some mufflers with 3"in. and dual out. in various sizes but they are kinda pricey

it doesn't have to be like that......with the magnaflow there were options of dual tips with 2.25", 2.5", 3", and so on with the 3" inlet.......well i guess i mean dual outlets.....you had to buy the tips seperate

You might be able to use a 14588, but it has a 22" long body and 28" overall but you'll need to add tips. This is 3" inlet and dual 2-1/2". Or you could use the smaller 14288 which is an 18" long body.

I would be suprised if a 22" muffler would fit.

When I was replacing the 14" Magnaflow that the exhaust shop put on with a Dynomax super turbo I really wanted the 20" version, but I measured and measured and ended up going with a 16" model. A 20" muffler would have been cutting it very, very close. It might have gone in if it was hung lower or something, but I dunno.
Its too bad, since the 16" model is louder, but flows the same as the 20"...and even this exhaust is noisy on the freeway.
