Hey is this car worth 10,000 cdn cause my buddy wants a rex and was wondering what a done out one costs cause I got mine back in the day and mine was stock. Sounds like a good deal to mee.

Dynoed at 220 whp and 175 lbs-ft tourque. Mint condition . its black and has 16" Enkei rins and nitto drag radials.

stock CRX, Mugen body kit (real or fake?) with 220 dynoed at the wheels? enkei rims? if thats all thats been done and rest left stock then no. its not work 10K canadian.

 

It has got to have more than cams, i/h/e and a chip to dyno at 220 to wheels and 175 torque. In my opinion it sounds like it isn't worth it. How much is 10,000 canadian in US dollars.??

There is still no way that it puts down numbers like that all motor. Most of the B20/Vtec motors put down numbers like that due to the larger displacement. I think it sounds a little shady to me.

 

I heard him say something like a strokern kit or something wtf is that maybe thats why he gets so much power cause he has it dyno tested

stroker kit in a B16 that supposedly pushes out 220 BWHP = Lasting 2 months.

Marty is the expert, but I doubt it's a real Mugen kit for that money. It's probably from Extreme Dimensions, they sell a fake one (9 piece) but the back bumper doesn't look right. I've been looking all over for one and at that price, I'd buy 10.

 

first of all i have yet to see ANY b-series motor put down that much tq n/a. and second of all, if this is true, then the car is worth 10k cdn easily.

 

175 ft/lbs of torque out of a na b16a even stroked is almost impossible, thats wayyy to high unless the hp was like 300, but then usually its FI...crvtecs dont put down that much torque to the wheels...sounds like a scam to me as well...

 

It is real migen kit and he has all reciepts. even 450 dollar shipping reciept from japan. Kit was bought of ebay japan for 1600 bucks

 

CRVTEC put down that much tourque btw cause i was there when Jeff in his EF hatch put down 354 HP and 197 lbs-ft tourque. But it is turboed so i donno

He got his readings off the dyno but the tourque was not able to be measured accuratly so he calculated it. That is what he told me when I said that you guys said it was impossible to get 180 lbs-ft of tourque. He said it was calculated. I said,"ever heard of drivetrain loss" hehe

Well anywasyt its a nice car and im going to buy his other body kit stolen or not.

craig said that jeff did dyno his car. I know it dont work now cause he got broken head bolts or whatever but it is fast.

 

the car has a stock b16 with an intake and a few other parts. the kit is NOT mugen, the wheels are NOT enkei, actually the car doesnt have 99% of the parts you claim it does.

jeff has never been to a dyno with his b20vtec EG either, he's only boosting around 12psi anyways, so deffinately not 346 whp or whatever.

if your friend wants a b16 crx i might sell mine..

 

yeah that is what he told me. He has a reciept for the body kit and he claims its mugen. He has the old one replaced cause it was falling off. His engine kinda looks crappy cause its dirty. He has enkei wheels in his garage apparently but know running on ASA rims that look badly.

since i played with the engine lift at Pick your part and ripped off the intake manifold on the 280 ZX and got at its turbo. Then HF manifold etc. But im going b16...... Damn i need nelson...

Anyways you going to pick your part saturday for all you can carry 29.95 oh yeah.
