Ive got this friend thats been calling me about his issues, i cannot figure them out, hope you guys can help.

His car is a SOHC civic hatch 92-95.
he replaced these parts and the codes remain, he tried using a different ECU and still got the codes.

Code 1 O2A - Oxygen sensor #1
He says that he has new O2 and voltage to o2.

Code 14 IAC (EACV) - idle air control valve
New IAC has voltage. yet still gets a code.

any advice or what to check next? he says all fuses are good.

 

you have to check the electrical connections, wires, plugs, pins, etc....
get a DMM (digital multimeter)

he says that all the voltage is there.

 

i would try cleaning the iacv. also trying using another o2 sensor.

 

used a few different IAC.
Used other o2 sensors.
same problem.

???????

Fried ecu? Is it chipped?
