Default Exhaust Fitment Question

What other Acura exhaust systems would fit a '00 ITR. I'm going back to stock and have come up missing my stock cat and B pipe. No one around has a ITR exhaust system so I'm looking to piece together something else.....any suggestions.

no other stock exhaust is like the ITR. it is one of the best free flowing stock exhausts on the market. the gsr would be the closest, but is a smaller exhaust in diameter. not sure if it connects to the cat either. somebody else needs to chime in and answer that.

I have heard that the RS*R Exmag is close in sound, and a lil better in flow and maintains the stock look - I have not confirmed this however.

does the GSR bolt up to the block? I may have access to the GSR system from the manifold to the muffler, so the cat fitment wouldn't be a problem. The only issue I am concerned about would be the length.

A '00-'01 GS-R or a '94+ LS system will bolt right up.

If you have a complete GS-R system from the manifold all the way back, that will also fit, regardless of the year. The only issue you might run into is the lack of a secondary O2 sensor bung in the cat, if the system is from an OBD-1 car.

I think he was talking about the muffler and b-pipe. Search high flow cat and you should be able to find some that fit.

I hope you arent putting things back to "stock" to pawn the car to a misled individual.... but a LS bpipe and cat should work fine....

Then why put a shitty ls/gsr exhaust on it. There are a few aftermarket exhausts that sound close to stock.

b/c right now it's on blocks - thought I had all my stock parts but have some up a few short, guess I didn't get em back when I changed em out. So I was scrambling for a quick fix. It was just a temporary solution.
