Default These pistons legit?

Im doing a rebuild on my c5 block and Im going to buy new pistons. Anyone ever used these before? ONly 188 shipped with pins and Hasting rings. I asked the seller about them and he said the coating on the side skirts is the same used by Honda and the piston itself it made out of a better aluminum material. Seems legit to me, the guy responded extremely fast and has a 100% feedback rating but I just thought I'd ask you guys to make sure b/f I decided to buy them. Let me know what you think. Thanks

The thing is, he doesn't mention brand, if they are nippon or npr then go for it. Its hard to say if they're "legit" since he's not claiming that they are oem honda p73 pistons. It just says type r p73 which just means they are high comp. p73 style perhaps.

Yea I agree with you. I sent him another message and asked him if Nippon makes them. he says the dome on them is made to match OEM ones. So NPR's are good pistons? Do they match OEM slugs exactly as far as c/r, quality, valve release depth, and all that good shiz? The pistons I sent the link for were only 188 shipped with rings and wrist pins. I'll probably just get OEM Honda ITR slugs from InlineFour and buy some Hasting rings are something. The ITR pistons on IL4 are lik 220 shipped just for pistons and pins though. I dunno. I wanna get OEM quality so I might just do it. But I wanted to get some opinions 1st. Thanks for the reply man

go to hmotorsonline.com and buy the JDM ITR ones, they have a higher dome for higher compression compared to the USDM ones that you have provided the link for

the castings on the crown seem to match oem castings pretty well...makes me think they are Nippon.

too skeptical. I'd just get pistons from RS Machines. I think they're cheaper too
