Default LS swap help

i need to know if i have to change throttle cables from the acura into the civic, and what about my alt wires? do i need to use my alt. out of my coupe?


the motor is a b18b1 into a 96 ex coupe that had d16y8

rear mount you can use your stock one but youll need a 99 si bracket cause the ls one is to long i belive. and pass. mount you can use your stock also im pretty sure. correct me if im wrong.

i dunno passenger look completly diffrent ill just have to look into it a lil more but u think i can use my stock rear????

the mount yes.. but the bracket that goes to the mount you cannot. 99 00 si rear bracket i belive.

and for the rear mount i need the SI? or i can use mine outta the EX

nope.. ex is to short. pretty sure its an si bracket. you can get it from honda for about a good 50 bucks. if not from honda.. good luck finding one..

you need the rear T bracket i belive from a si
the driverside si bracket.

just PM me if you have any problems with wiring
( unless you didnt get the same obd gen as your car then i wont be able to help.. )

and your looking at the upwards of 135 for the brackets direct from honda.
so check your local junkyards ( i doutb you'll find it but its wortha shot..)

well the motor is in.but my alt plug is diffrent do i have to use my altenator i know i have to use my distributor off my y8 can some 1 plz help me with all the wires i will not need to hook up and what i will? and what i have to change around. its a b18b1 going into a 96 ex coupe that had a d16y8 in it. thanks in advance
