Default OBD1 distributor on OBD0 DPFI harness

Hi all,
I doing some weird swap.
I have an 93 EDM Civic Dxi with OBD0 DPFI engine (D15B2)

I want to swap to D16Z6 but currently I will run this motor as DPFI non VTEC on the original harness (OBD0). (D16Z6 will be installed with the D15B2 intakes)

The problem is the the D15B2 dizzy doesn't fit the D16Z6 engine.

Is it possible to make the D16Z6 dizzy to work with the OBD0 DPFI harness?

This solution will be temporary until I'll get conversion harness and run the motor with p28 ecu

No it wont,

How can you start the engine, when there is no spark?

What will cause the dizzy not to give spark?

So there is no way to make it work?

No, just wait to put in the z6 until you have everything else needed for the swap.

Z6 dizzy + obd1 dizzy conversion. You will actualy need to do a 100% obd1 conversion. harness, dizzy and injectors.

Thanks...

I've read that the Z6 dizzy is different than other OBD1 distributors, is it true?

Because the engine that i'm using is accutally a JDM SOHC VTEC ZC.

I've wrote Z6 because in the US most of you don't see this kind of ZC engine....
and I understood that they are similiar... maybe I was wrong.

How can I identify the Z6 dizzy so I can know if it's the same one?
Or the only thing that matter is that the dizzy is OBD1?

They car may start, but run very very poor! with obd0 dizzy.

z6 dizzy is not special, it just fits ur head, you need td42, thats the code for sohc vtec dizzy for d15bvtec, and z6 head
