Default electrical help for a 89 crx si

I posted this in the crx thread but also here b.c. maybe yall would be better help since its electrial related.
I am experiencing a short circuit somewhere on my 89 crx si. Blue the horn fuse and horn did not work also the brake lights don't work. I replaced the fuse and then the brake lights stayed on. So i thought it may have been where i took my seat belt out w. the wires(i have harnesses installed) but i had that on for almost a month b4 this happened so if anyone has experienced this b4 please help me out. I know that I will prolly only be able to fix it if i go through the wires w. a multimeter, but any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

If the brake lights stay on its because they are getting power from someplace, and the first place I would look is at the brake light switch, high up on bracket next to, in front of or behind brake lever, horn and brakes are on constant power, [hot at all times] circuits and may well be on the same fuse.

Does the horn work? 94

horn does not work. found a lil foam pad on the floor may be where it separates the switch.

I would definitely have a look at the brake switch. 94

Superglue a dime there, [common problem on Honda/Acura] but what is blowing the fuse, brake lights on constantly should not blow the fuse? 94

You said when you install the fuse the brake lights stay on, [suggesting the fuse does not blow at that point, as the brake lights stay on] is that correct?

If you press the brake switch, will the brake lights go out and on again when the switch is released, or if you fixed the brake light switch "push thingy", do the brake lights work?

If so, the short is in the horn circuit, between the horn relay and the horn(s), if the fuse does not blow when you install it and the brake lights stay on, press the horn button and see if the horn(s) work of if it blows the fuse, if it does blow the fuse, unplug the horn(s), [at the horn(s)] and try again, if fuse does not blow now when you press the horn button, then one or both, [if there are 2] horns are blown, [short].
Try it and let me know. 94
