Reason for selling: I bought this car a couple of months ago and decided I need to get a house soon.
This is a 1994 Rx7 Touring 5 speed with 158,000miles on the chassis and 38,000miles on a rebuilt motor. A/C and P/S still works!! I drive this car everyday without any probelm to and from work. Thats why this car has so many miles on it, its reliable. I have a set of spare turbos that will come with the car since the turbos on the motor are still original and they just started to show signs of wear.
The car does not smoke at idle/startup or while driving. The turbos are still running strong.
Modifications/Reliability:
It has a PWR Aluminum radiator and a Pettit AST, and all of the coolant hoses have been replaced a few weeks back. I have one fan running off of the ECU and the other fan running off a manual switch so you never have to worry about cooling issues!! All vacuum lines have been replaced. Peter Farrell Intercooler, Intake and Exhaust keep the temps down while pushing more power. HKS DLI ignition system that provides optimum spark duration and maximum voltage output, resulting in crisper throttle response and a smoother engine powerband. M2 Stage 3 ECU. Stage 2 Exedy Clutch and a 3in downpipe,HKS BOV, voodoo ti shift **** and a pioneer cd player.
Wheels/suspension
17x9 and 17x8 Work S2R's (the wheels were painted by a previous owner and I recommend getting them powder coated) and Racing Beat springs.
Issues
The famous 6 pillow ball bearings need be replaced in the back unless you like the clunking noise at low speeds. The clearcoat on the front fenders is peeling (You can see some of the peeling on the headlight in the engine bay picture). A scuff mark on the front fender can be seen. The drivers seat has a tear.The O2, Spark plugs, and oil/filter change were replaced last week. A Radiator flush was done a few weeks back.
