IACV issues on GSR Swap
i recently swapped my LS/VTEC for a complete GSR motor. it is throwing a code 14, which is for the IACV.
1st, i cleaned it out with carb cleaner and let it dry. still had the code. finally, i decided to get another from a local dismantler, and it still has the same problems. anyone else have any advice for me soo i can eliminate this problem???

Chances are if both IACV seem bad, then u may have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check ro make sure all vacuum lines are routed correctly. Also check for cracks in the intake manifold. That's what gave me my code 14, and I too went through 3 good IACV's until I discovered that crack.
I had the same problem when I did my swap. Never threw a code before but won't go away after the swap right?
Ended up plugging the wrong sensor plug to the IACV. Got it mixed up with the knock sensor one. Swap around the sensor plugs. Might be it.

i had that same thought that the plugs might be switched around...............will have to try that. but, in my mind, wouldnt it throw a knock code if they were swtiched???
