Default Damn Old Civics, lol

Man is it hard to find a piece you need for your car. ive been searching for over 3 months for the bumper filler that my car needs and so far no luck.

Anyone else have this kind of problem?!

Also, if anyone in socal has it, PM me, ill most likely get it if its in good shape.

its a styro-foam thingy that goes behind the shell of the bumper and provides a type of impact absorbtion so the bumper does'nt cave in and brake when you hit something....and I'm sure it does more too

They are hard to find straight in junk yards. They aren't that expensive new though ~$60.

I'd just go to the dealer and buy it. You'd probably get it in 2 or 3 days max. I bought an entire front bulkhead for my CRX ($299), and it only took a couple of days to come in.

the styrofoam thing is just to keep the bumper from sagging thats all it does

I think it has more to do with absorbing impact actually. The part is called the Front Absorber. I don't have one in my car.

You can buy that piece brand new on Ebay for about $40 if I remember correctly.

Beacause I have an HF bumper support in my car. The absorber only fits with the Si/DX bumper support. They were going for super light weight with the HF. Check the parts fische.
