Which Throttle Cable for Power Throttle Body?
Usually i post in the civic/delsol forum, but the parts i'm referring too are all integra...
So like the title says I just installed my Power Throttle body, from here:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1608461.
VERY impressed with the throttle response. Only problem is my LS Cable is just a tad too long. Maybe GSR cable might fit? I know potentially i might be answering my own question but i just want some verification before i go out and buy.
TIA

I believe that the GSR cable is shorted.. I had an LS one on my hatch with LS/VTEC and the cable was pretty long... It was latched to a RPM TB..

That is not on there right, the throttle cable should loop around the pulley. I'm suprised you can even get wide-open throttle with the cable attached like that, it should make a half-circle around the yellowish pulley. That is also why you have so muh cable exposed.
oh i can still go WOT, the turning radius is only 1/4 of what the old TB was--adds to the amazing throttle response
But yeah, back to getting tension in my cable? Anything?

I told you, the cable should wrap AROUND the pulley, not just attach to it. Look at the pulley, it has a 'track' on it that the pulley should sit in and wrap half-way around. Also, you may have to remove the nut holding the pulley on and rotate the pulley 180 degrees.

right, but if you look at the (2nd) picture, i can't exactly do as your saying due to the metal tabs/***** being in the way.

You have to take off the nut and spin the pulley on the threaded screw. The flat tab on the pulley should be up against the adjustment screw. It's really not that hard.
