yes another tps question, searched already!
i recently aquired this 69mm tb from a freind and the tps plug was broke off, so i put my tps on it, now my car for some reason wont idle down past 1300 and it does the rev up and down game now, i turned the fast idle screw all the way down with no changes, my question is this, how do i set the tps back to its proper place, i put it right in the middle of the sliders so that if i needed to adjust id be able to go both ways. which way to i need to slide it? im just tryin to get an idea because i have to pull the t/b off to loosin the screws to turn it, so i wanna do it right the first time
Check that the throttle plate in the new TB is sealing properly. To set the TPS properly, you need a multimeter to measure the potential (voltage). It should be 0.5V when closed and 4.5+ V at WOT.

Dogginator's got it, calibrate it to the correct voltage and no more problem.

k, i calibrated it, and rechecked all my vaccume lines and still cant get it down past 1300, what else could it be? i wasted almost a whole can of carb cleaner checking for leaks
Replacing my TB was the biggest headache ever...

Post a picture of the throttle plate. I'm curious as to whether is was machined properly.
Here is an easy test, remove the intake, start the car, and block the passages in the TB before the throttle plate with your fingers. Does the car still idle?
