Default Best Exhuast?

What is the best exhuast for my 1998 Champ White Integra Type-R. Also, what are the best tires for my car. Thanks

Good question, but just not asked correctly.

Do you care about the sound of the exhaust?
Do you have mods? are you planning on mods?
What is your price range?
Do you care about the appearance? Do you want a big coffee can or a small tip?

I have an Apex'i N1 Exhuast and it is LOUD! I love the way it sounds, but it just depends on if you like loud exhuasts or not.

Exactly as mentioned, what is your price range and how loud do you want it? Custom SMSP exhaust will sound nice, quiet and small tip. Any N1 style exhaust, usually big *** tip and loud. Ex. APEXi N1, Tanabe Racing Medalion. If I had an R, I would get a "true" 2.5" exhaust like Type One, SMSP, or Kakimoto N1 or Buddy Club Spec III.. Good luck.

I second that only if you don't mind a louder than stock exhaust. I've got the dyno graph to prove that the Type1 is a good investment.

Yup. The type-one is awesome but I'm going deaf. The thing is though, put the silencer in, sounds a bit more than stock but barely.

SMSP/ Custom Magnaflow

Its the exact same thing, so I don't know why its called SMSP. Kinda ironic that a custom exhaust is among the best, when not long ago I was flamed for recommending them. Flamed cuz my LS isnt as great as your Type R's and so I wouldn't know what a good exhaust was. Go to a muffler shop, get mandrel bent piping in at least aluminized steel and get two magnflow mufflers... 1 midpipe and one in the rear.

you got your type one already from dave? how do you like it??

disorder still awaits his...

Deep pockets- get the SMSP. GREAT gains, good sound, good looking, quality

Mediocre pockets- Type One or Kakimoto R(but i believe the kakimoto will not fit due to it's b-pipe length?? correct me if i am wrong, it's not bolt-on from what i remember..)

I hope to post videos/sound bytes and pics when I install my Type One.

I got the type-one ti muff/axle back but I'm still waiting on the b-pipe.

It's too loud for my taste so I put the silencer in after 2 runs with it. Gives me a headache..
