Default HID troubles in 93 lude

I can't get my HID headlights to work in the lude, they worked fine in my 91 crx but they won't do anything in the prelude.

I had a feeling someone would come up with an Einstein comment like yours but it's a good thing at least for me that the factory Honda headlight plug is the exact same as the one on the HID kit.

what the hell else did you expect with a post like that, your undetailed little story and a frownie-face

cute

i dont think theres any grey area here, they either work or they dont, so quite obviously, you didnt hook them up right....theres no magical elf hiding only in prelude headlights that makes HID systems not work

The problem I'm having is the amplifier box is holding a posittive charge, like the casing itself. The ludes are wired differently than say the CRX, the positives are wired together out of the relay for both the left and the right.

get out a multimeter and test at all the points along the system to figure out whether youre getting what you need there or not....

I wasnt aware that the CRX headlights used the same plug as the Prelude lights.. news to me.. plug them back up to your CRX where they were working and test them. If the work make a custom harness for your prelude.
