Yeah, smoke your clutch and wear your tires down. I'd never do this to my NSX. Why did he feel proud of doing it? I can do the same thing but what is it going to prove? Nothing more than abusing the car and showing off. ANYTHING for attention...

I don't understand how burnouts can be cool. It's just plain stupid to me.

 

I guess it'd be fun once. And then I'd feel pretty stupid. Like, "What the hell am I wasting a 2K clutch and 1K worth of tires for?" I'd feel even worse if I was a kind of person who would do this before I intended to sell it.

Why does everbody hate? I applaud the guy for doing that, it's a car it's supposed to be driven hard...if a guy can afford an NSX, he can afford to replace the clutch and the tires....

 

This guy was driving his car "stupidly." I drive my NSX but I also drive it "hard" at Laguna Seca where I'm near redline most of time and pushing the car to it's limits. That's driving it hard. This guy seems to have lots of experience doing burnouts and ZERO experience in the manner the NSX is meant to be driven. Like I said, ANYTHING for attention, even if it would cost the guy nearly $3000 of abuse to the NSX to get it.

Those crazy japanese ppl and their JDM cars. This guy probably has a few of these laying around. Still not an excuse to be working the engine hard.

This reminds me of the movie of this guy doing the same thing w/ a Ferrari 550...except he blew up the engine after he came to a stop.

 

i have that one....kinda interesting....I wonder what it is that blwe up since he was stopped (engine at idle)

when i get my nsx or skyline, im going to be doing the same thing.

 

I don't quite get the point but it was fun to watch someone else waste money. Keep it up, makes for good entertainment. I'm not quite sure how that video shows how to drive an NSX though. Just about anyone can spin around in circles.

I have a video of a guy doing the same thing but it is a Ferrari 456GT not a 550 and the same thing happened when he came to a stop. BOOM!
