EK Rear Hatch Tint
On my 97 EK, I have a JDM OEM HONDA rear Hatch door, and it came with it pre-tinted. My question is, is it safe to put a static-cling sticker (I heart MyHonda from Honda) on it? Also what do i clean it with??
By pre-tinted, do you mean that the previous owner had window film applied to the glass, or that the factory glass itself is tinted?
Either way, a static cling won't cause any issues. As for cleaning the glass, if the tint is aftermarket window film, make sure to use a glass cleaner that contains no ammonia.

the oem jdm ek9 rear quarter, and hatch are tinted smoked glass. no physical tint.
just like the eg6 bronze glass, the ek9's are tinted glass. eitherway it wont harm it in anyway.

If you're talking about faded purple window tint, this is caused by the sun acting on a poor quality film. As long as the glass cleaner is ammonia-free and relatively mild, there shouldn't be any problems using it.

The point is that you aren't "risking" anything as long as you use the proper cleaner.
To be fair though, a damp towel is usually sufficient in most cases.
