my poor type R:stolen & stripped =(

my type r was stolen last monday (4.22.02) and was recovered on saturday...i'm posting pics...*snif* they didn't leave me a goddamn thing either...

they stole my car from in front of my house...went out to go to school and it was gone. they took like $2000 in magic cards, all of my school stuff and books (i had my term projects and papers and everything in there), my 2001 tax return information (so they could steal my identity), and most painfully...my personal art and sketches...

they took everything from me...and that week, it just got worse and worse everyday...

life is not good right now... i've tried to cover all my bases so this doesn't get worse, but they could just as easily be back to steal my del sol or any other family members' car...i'm ******* pissed...

Have you ever thought that there are thieves on this board just shopping for cars to steal? Unless you have a bullet proof security system, I wouldn't post pics here. There are just too many of these 'stolen' posts, which leads me to believe that this is more than a coinidence....there's a boosting ring out there...I'm sure of it and some of those thieves are definately here!

Have you called all 3 of the credit reporting agencies and given them a fraud alert? They can flag your soc # so that if anyone calls for credit, they need a phone authorization from you first. That is the only way to ensure the thieves don't get credit in your name. Sorry for your loss. I feel for you; it must really, really suck.

thanks for the outpour of support fellas, it's a tough time right now. the car was stolen in the north bay. sorry about the crappy link, yahoo is all kinds of messed up right now. if you want to see the pics just email me and i will send them to you. i have called all of the credit bureaus and the rest of the government agencies that i need to to protect myself. if anybody can help with hosting the pics it would be greatly appreciated since yahoo sucks...but doesn't suck nearly as bad as going to that ******* graveyard they call a tow yard to claim my car...

That is how I felt when my GSR got raped in my driveway. Considering it was only parked there for like 2-3 weeks when I accumulated garage junk due to house remodeling. Anyway, I asked that myself, what is stopping them from going in the garage, inside my house? Cops won't do ****. I just picked up a Glock (with permit) and have my heart set on capping them if they break in to my property. That gave me some piece of mind. Now, I am hoping they come back.
