Default Grounding pts

Hi, I have a EK hatch. Anyone can tell me the exact locations of all the grounding points that can relate to fuel pump operation? Is there a ground point at the fuel pump itself? I have been having inconsistant fuel pump priming on startup and would like to get this ground point fixed ASAP. I have sanded down the T-stat ground point, valve cover point, got new battery terminals, left and right ground points behind the headlights. Where else did I over look? Are there critical points in the car?

Is the Main Fuel Relay underneath the dash (driver side) in good working condition? Do you hear a "tick" when the Ignition is in the ON position?

Yes I hear a tick. I just had it replaced just in case. I can hear the pump prime as well, but when I first bought the car, it primed loud. Now it primes softly.

Actually I am having some surging/stuttering going over uneven road surfaces. Was trying to narrow the problem down. Seems its not the fuel pump from the help I got from this thread.
