b16 questions

Default b16 questions

ok i bought a 91 hatch today with a b16 swap the car was owned by a honda tech and it was his project but he had to sell it due to some issues .... the car is sic pulls hard v tec engages very good and everything is cool but it throws a o2 sensor light when the rpms are decressing and that only happens after the car has been driven for awhile and the second question i have is i was told a d16 altenator will work on the b16 ... it fried on the way home and i had to cancel my trip to philly ;(
ps sry for the giant run on setence, but its late n im beat

Try replacing the 02. wich code is it throwing the obd0 b16's have 2 o2's

yea its obdo for now ... its got 2 brand new o2's on it

depending on which ecu you are running. i'm running a obd0 pr3 with only 1 o2 and its fine. pwo ecu is 2

yea im runing the pr3 with 2 thats how i bought the car. but i need to know if i can use the d15 altenator on the b16. the one that was on the b16 cooked lastnite.

make sure the oxygen sensors are wired correctly. Check with FAQ section here. Also, I'd reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for long term memory and not just the fuse...
Any D series alternator will work with more mod to the bracket
