I removed the aftermarket gauges that the previous owner had installed. He had them glued on, what would be the easiest way to clean up the glue off the factory gauges? Also my speedo is off so i am thinking he had the needle removed and placed it back in the wrong position, how could i correct this?

I have been searching and a guy said to place the needle on just before the stop, then lift it over the stop so i guess i'll try that out tomorrow.

 

Any kind of solvent based degreaser will do the job. Look for it at a local autostore.

EDIT: Goo-gone is alot cheaper and you can get it at grocery stores

 

eah i have some goo gone here, i'll try that out in the morning. Anybody got any tips on removing my speedo needle and reinstalling it correctly?

Goo-Gone FTW...anything else, will damage the plastic and make it cloudy... Seen it happen, true story!

 

Damn i cant get the glue off the factory gauges at all. Is there anywhere i can buy aftermarket gauges replicated after the canadian cluster?
