Nasty pictures. LOL

But not as bad as when I did my first swap and tried to lift the tranny out from the top of the hood and cut my forearm which left a 2inch scar for LIFE!

Doesn't look like there is any blood underneath the nail. I remember last time I was closing the door to my dads van from the back and my finger had slipped in and the door sled closed on it. The nail essentially turned black from all the blood underneath. Then one day I was picking at it and it feel off. It was pretty nasty until a new nail grew in.

If your bleeding all the way around there are good chances it will fall off, just keep it covered for a couple weeks, I fractured my finger replacing an axle and ripped my nail 3/4 off

After we put the wheels back on the metal plate behind the brake was rubbing on the rotor. We were spinning the wheels as fast as we could to hear exactly where when my finger slipped in between one of the spokes and crushed it against the caliper.

The worst part was that it became infected and doubled in size

It eventually feel off, but it still hasnt healed fully.

coming from someone in the medical field...you should be ok, if you tape it up with some gauze...tightly for a couple days and keep changing it everyso often in the morning or before you go to bed at night. it will have a better chance of reattaching itself and growing back into place....however if you decide doing a motor swap is in your future and you just don't do anything about it...well it'll probably come off.

I caught mine on a dust shiled while doing suspension, the wrench slipped and I tore right under the nail on my finger

half of it turned all kinds of colors but stayed on, I did it in the beginning of june and it just finally all grew out, and was able to clip the last of it off a few days ago

it'll grow back if u take the nail off. i once tortured a guy w/ his nails and as long as you don't touch under the skin when the nail is off, it'll grow back. ~2 months later i saw the guy picking his nose so you'll be fine

Your fingernail is going to turn all purple and green. It will take about 3-4 months to fully grow back. No biggie.

I broke a toneail completely off and it took about 4 months to grow back. Perhaps fingernails grow faster. Dunno. *shrugs*

Why are you making another thread about this....No one here is a doctor! Last time I checked this place, it was called Honda-Tech...Why don't you go to a hospital, and find out it's probabbly infected too!
