Its a coolant line that used to go to your FITV most likely.

Fast Idle Thermo Valve

Helps control idle when you car is cold. Someone must have changed your tb/intake mani to one that does not have a fitv and just capped off the hose.

Do you have any idle problems?

Some stock manifolds have fitv, some dont.
Some stock tb's have fitv, some don't.

Here's what it looks like.

It may be there just not hooked up.

hell unhook it and see how it runs.
see if you can hook it up into anything on there...it might run better
if not you could always just put the screw back in

Dude chill....
I wasnt trying to boss the guy around. I was just giving my advice....IF the guy REALLY wanted to know what something is then he needs to check it out. SO stop waiting for people to post so you can jump on them to get your posts up....He asked what ppl thought and I told him. SO CALM THE **** DOWN.

i understand that...I wasnt telling him to start the car and do it.
Look all I am saying is that I myself came across a hose that was like that and I myself took the screw out to find out exactly what it was. The guy doesnt have to do what I say.
