Default Torque Specs on arp studs for d16z6

i need torque specs for arp headstuds with moly lube on d16z6. Also if you take the distributor off and rotate the rotor will it expletive up the timing? I know it goes in one way.

65ft-lbs and for the dist. Timing is determined when the dist. goes back on, and you need a timing light to set it straight.

here is what i do

start from the middle then go out

i start them all at 20 , then to 40 and tighten and loosen them a few times. that gives helps them stretch

then after i do that I do 60lbs

i start from the middle then go like this


7 3 1 6 10
9 5 2 4 8


also being that you are D-series you can do them 1 at a time.. make sure to use the arp moly lube to

what about putting loctite on the part that goes into the block

Put some Moly lube in there.

some people say to re tq after 50 miles or so.. but thats usually why i tighten and loosen at 40lbs a few times to give them a stretch

wahts the firing order for the dizzy?i searched and found

1

however it wont start with it like that i switched it and put it at
3
1 4
2

and it would start but runs rough
