driverside mount should cost about $50. depends where you go, but i would be more concern about the oil than the mount.

so your motor mount broke off and hit your hood? or your motor broke off the welded mount bracket and motor bounced and hit your hood? how can that be?! show pics....not sure what you want...hahahha
y u laughing i guess the rubber seal broke and now all the fluid is coming out my mistake not oil fluid it broke the rubber seal and now the screw that holds the throttle canble on top of the vlve cover hit the hood as it went up i put the e brake on and put it in first and threw the the windshield i can literealy see the motor moving up
The mounts are fluid filled, so I assume the "oil" he's talking about came from the ruptured rubber isolator on the driver's side and the engine hit the hood when it torqued free of the mount.

only the 96+ civic have them.

The exact thing happened to me. I ripped my driverside mount to shreads and all of the oil from inside it went everywere. It's defiantly the motor mount. I believe a replacement one is 90$ from honda.

i've bought several mounts from these guys.so far they're as good as OEM.
BTW-if you're driving the car that hard, you may consider buying the inserts for the two lower front and rear mounts.they work well to limit movement and take some of the stress off that fragile top mount.they're also much cheaper than buying another new mount.
oh,TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK ON THE TITLE!!

No, most every motor mount Honda has is fluid filled. It's filled with antifreeze and over time it will start to rust and that rusty colored fluid is what comes out.

you sure about that? I know the 96+ civics have it and I know for damn sure that EG's don't. I think you are mistaken.

I've broke open 2 of them on a EG and have seen numerous other threads with people having the same problem and fluid all over the bay. A few 92-93's with the 2 bolt angle mount have them and most all with the 3 bolt straight mount are fluid filled. Same way with the Integras.
