Wait how much do you pay for regular Honda MTF ? I bought a quart last week and it cost me over $7. And this was the regular stuff not the new stuff.

I've never bought regular Honda MTF. I went from 10w40 to GM. My dealer doesn't have the new stuff in yet, so I've gotta wait to try it. People have told me it works really well though
The place I used to take my old car (Audi) has Elf fluids in stock, and I've been thinking of using that... expensive stuff!
Whilest we are here, anyone have a link to a DIY M/T fluid change, pref. for a 5th gen?

rocket its easy as pie dude. theres a drain bolt on the bottom end right behind the wheel well. drain itout and then above that there is a fill bolt (both are taken out with just a 3/8" drive) start filling it with the drain bolt OUT. wait untill the fluid comes clean out of the whole. cap it and then fill it up until it pours out of the fill hole then let it trickle and then cap it. plain and simple. i wanna say the tranny holds like 1.5 quarts but for some reason i feel like thats wrong anyone know what cap. is cause i cant get INhonda to work

I work at honda...ill be going over to the parts department to see if its up for sale yet. hopefully it is. If it is and anyone wants it, let me know i can buy some ou guys bottles and ship them out to u guys that cant buy them...let me know..ill see what i can do
Just bought the New MTF for the lude. Total cost $14.89 Includes 2 quarts of MTF, the drain and the fill crush washers. $6.63 per quart at Honda. Honda didn't even know that they had them in stock. Guess I was the first one to get it at that location. Will be flushing/filling later today/tommorow.

Done. The old fluid was not so dirty, but the new fluid is hella clean. The difficulty: none, as easy as an engine oil change.
Test drove it afterwards, i had 5th gear grind at high speeds before, now it looks like it went away. Can't really tell the major difference, but as the days go by - I'm sure I will. Great Find to the first post
