Default car shaking when I get on it

Ok guys I have a 2000 si with a gsr swap and some other goodies.....well I'm not goin to lie.....I got some bald *** tires on my car and they are probabaly not weighted correctly.

My question is could the condition of my tires be the reason why when I get on it the car shakes a bit....never did this b4.....all suggestions are welcomed.....

Thanks in advance guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

balance the wheels, get new tires and if they are after market wheels, you probably need to get hub-centric rings.

I would defenitely change the tires, balance. Also maybe lower ball joints could be going

Make sure your axles are seated fully into the transmission. But also get those tires replaced and balanced. If one of the axles are even slightly out of the tranny, it will cause mild to violent shaking upon acceleration only.

mine does that also but only when i reach about 80 MPH then around 100mph it stops..lol so you might just want to get a balance and new tires for just a balance.

get 'em changed and balance but one thing first:

If you floor it in first, does is shake? Shakes do to improper balancing tend to take effect around 50mph. If it's shaking just as bad when you're doign 15 with the pedal down, it may not be that (but then again it could still be your wheel alignment). I'd recommend new tires, balance, and 4 wheel alignment. See where you are from there.
