Default what hydraulic press to use with our trannies

i'm not a honda guy but i've teared honda trannies before, i'm a mitsu guy, regardless i'd imagine it beeing the same. my question is what hydraulic press do you guys use to separate the gears from the shafts.. ton wise is my question? 12 ton be enough? or does it have to be 25 or higher? i use to work at a dealership and i cant remember what the capacity of the one at work was.. ........

mainshaft shouldnt need a press or anything.

countershaft:
1) Loosen the nut and remove the washer
2) Replace the nut with 3-4 threads
3) take a piece of wood, place it on the floor. proceed to tap the nut end HARD on the wood. (this will break the 2 upper bearings free.)
4) Remove them
5) if the gears are still stuck, repeat step 3 and voila.

You don't need a presse. Just got to sears and get a gear puller works fine. Dturbocivic just took my tranny all apart tonight with my gear puller.

No press needed as described above...unless its a K series...then get a good one! We broke two small presses already before we got a 20 Ton

With a B Series, I just use the workbench

K Series, a Press is defiantely needed...which sucks.
