burnout box problems
i have a open diff and i was running azenis when i would do a second gear burnout o couldnt keep the damn thing straight it wants to go back and forth trying to hit the wall anyone else have this problem i felt like i was a drift racer trhowing the wheel back and forth like that what can i do to fix this besides an lsd.. and with slicks will it be worse or better?
I think the problem lies in the fact that your doing a second gear burnout w/o an LSD. To get second gear burnouts in my experience you have to put your foot to the floor, which in turns biases all power to one wheel. That's probably why your not going straight.
I do first gear burnouts and have an open diff as well. After I get my wheels spinning, i'll let the throttle back. I find that this gets both wheels to spin.
I just ran with slicks for my first time, and when I burned out I stayed pretty straight. However, I just got an alignment done, so that's probably something to consider.
