Default ONE simple stereo install question?

wasup...i have a 99 si and i just bought a sony stereo because the stock one sucks. The new stereo came with a black installation kit. Does anyone know if the radio brackets fit an aftermarket stereo like mine or would i need to use the installation kit? Thanks.

this man speaks the truth.

did the cd player come with its own dash kit? if it did there is no way it was made for a 99 si, its probably some universal thing.

but i dunno anythinga bout 99 si's, so wait for someone with more info to chime in
