Default 17" Rims on 2000 Hatchback

I have a 2000 Civic Hatch sitting on 17" Borbet Type CA rims wrapped in 205/40/17 Khumos.

I have Tein S springs with KYB Gr-2, Skunk2 Front/Rear camber kit, rear lower control arms.

Any reason why my front rims hit the fenders when i take turns or hit a pot hole.

I am the only person I know with a Civic sitting on 17's hitting the fenders.

Any light would be beneficial?
thanks

No. Putting rims 4 inchs bigger than stock, then dumping it, and adding a camber kit, it's going to rub. Either raise it up, get smaller wheels, different offset, or a smaller series tire.

thanks --

what size rims shouldn't rub or hit?

the funny thing is the passenger side always hits while the driver's side rarely hits

16's with a 40 series tire lowered moderate don't rub.

Mines a coupe, but when I had my 17's on, they only rubbed when I was cornering full out. How fast do you tend to corner?
