i just bought a 94 civic coupe with a b16a it ran fine for a few days then the car started having trouble starting like there was a dead spot on the starter a day later it wouldnt start at all i bought a new starter and put it in but now theres no sound at all from the car except the fuel pump when you turn the key all the dash and interior lights work if i jump the positive to the sending wire it starts the car but nothing if i turn the key but when i take the key out completly the heater controls still have power and work without the key everyone i know is stumped and i cant find anything close to this problem searching here

 

Are you getting any CELs?

 

check engine light was on the whole time but i dunno y oh and if it helps any the car was auto before the swap now its a 5 speed

 

Did you check the code of the CEL?
