Default Headlight Buzzer

Has N E 1 done this lil do dad yet?
*
I went and bought from R/Shack the mini buzzer 12v/dc 15 mA * 75dB at 300-500Hz freq.
*
The write up that I have says to put the Red wire in fuse slot #8( Taillights/License Lights/Instrument Lights Fuse) and Black wire in fuse slot #18(Rear Defroster Relay Fuse).
*
Very simple....But it didn't work.

WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WRONG!!!

you need to plug it into the 'optional accesory' fuse outlets #1 & #2.

it doesn't matter which way you connect the +/- wires.

It works like this:
#1 is Ignition pwr
#2 is Running Light pwr

If the lights are ON AND the ignition is ON, the both wires of the buzzer see + voltage (no circuit, no buzz)
If the lights are ON AND the ignition is OFF, then one wire has +12v and the other essentially becomes a ground (and the buzzer sounds).

OK..I'm guessing your 1 and 2 are custom wire set up, because my 1 and 2 aren't being used at all. I have a 4 door sedan what do you have?
I'm wondering if i should plug it into either of these two 10 and 11 which is for the low beam headlight relay. and then one of the other like #8 or #18.

I think I'll grab my voltmeter to make sure my theory works..don't want to short out anything.

stock, 1 and 2 arent used. he added those wires for the buzzer. get slotted female sides, crimp your wires, and plug them in to 1 and 2
