solid engine code, fuel pump wont prime???? same kinda problem as main relay maybe???
ok so you guys know the main relay problem EFs have? well the same sorta thing is happening except with my fuel pump. i replaced the main relay already and stilll happens.
once in a while the if you turn the car off and try to turn it back on, you get a solid engine code and the fuel pump wont prime.
NOW THE FIRST TIME I STARTED UP THE NEW MOTOR, i heard some crazy *** clicking coming from under the dash, (sounded like fuse box area) is there any relays there that can crap out or something? one time i kicked the fuse box in anger, the code went away, fuel pump primed and i was able to start the car..so it isnt an issue with the ecu.
help me out guys i need to drive !!

I am in a similar situation. I think it is the ignition switch (only puts out 8v to the relay). read my post that got pushed to the bottom.

sounds like you have a Grounding issue... check all your grounds to the body.

ok i will check, i know the ones under the hood are all good, but is there any other ones i should check for? under the dash, under the car by the pump? etc.

same problem but wit an integra...the clickin from the main relay??? its starts to click then my pump primes...everyone tellin me its a main relay problem
The fuel pump relay is located to the left of the steering wheel in the dash. If it is getting hot and failing, that could be your problem. (or is it a diff relay?)
*If that is the main relay, then solder the points on it again and see what happens.

well one sure fire way to test your fuel pump would be to take out your back seat and hot wire the leads. to 12volts if it dosent work then you need to crawl under the car and pull the tank and replace the pump

you're talking about the yellow-balck wire rite? just run a direct 12volt to that?
