What's to get outdated? You do a swap today the exact same way you did it two or three years ago.

The messageboards (especially this hybrid forum) are full of people that don't know what the hell they're talking about. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but it's true. People will speak up and give you an answer like they know what they're talking about. Problem is, half the time they're wrong. Everyone reads that wrong answer, then they go spouting off misinformation as well. If you read enough, you'll be able to decipher fact from fiction, but it's very confusing to start with.

C-speedracing is all right, but they just show the EG swap, and they completely gloss over the wiring.... which is actually about the only thing that needs talking about. EVERYTHING else can be gotten from a Helms manual.... which everyone should have for both the engine and chassis of the car they're working on.

When I did my first swap, I used http://www.hybrid.honda-perf.org, but it didn't help at all. I'm probably stupid and couldn't follow the instructions, but some of the wiring color was wrong and they never tell you the location of each wires and **** like that. I mean, if I have to buy a Helm manual to figure that out, I wouldn't bother wasting time researching it in the first place.

Email or PM "Slurp56", he will be able to answer most if not all your questions, but I'm not sure if he still hang around this board.
