ok, its a 90 crx si, so i hit a curb real hard and if you look at the brake disc/hub thing while the wheel is off, it is at a slight diagonal angle and when you put either the spare or the stock wheel on and lower the car it leans with the top of the wheel outward.
i am not sure if the hub is bent? or the steering knuckle? or the axle?
its also possible that the wheel was pushed back in position also cause it looked like it was closer to the fender.
i was just seeing if anyone can give me any direction on what part is bent causing the wheel to lean out like that? any info would be appreciated, thanks

It's can be hard to pick the bent parts just eyeballing it because sometimes the damage is very subtle visually.
One obvious clue is check and see if the shock starts to leak. If so, then it's very likely bented.
Also, it's possible that everything's a little bent @ that corner.

Dont know much about the frame of a crx....but I had a saturn sedan that we hit the curb HARD in, and the wheel actually looked fine....until you drove it. It was the front right wheel and would actualy turn itself left the faster you went! And, the top part of the wheel leaned more and more out at a faster speed... It turned out to be that the engine cradle was bent, all the suspension stuff was fine! Like I said, I dont know if crx's have an engine cradle or not. I had no idea the saturn did, fortunately insurance fixed it, and the saturn dealer knew what it was. Otherwise, I would have been replacing parts like mad trying to fix it.
I did the same thing. It turned out to be a bent subframe. I replaced the control arms and the hub along with the subframe and it drives fine.

nobody's going to be able to diagnose this over the internet, especially without some pics from underneath the car, but that is the first place you should look as it is usually what bends. get the car on a lift, and in the hands of someone qualified (that may or may not be you) to diagnose it.
